Centralia City Schools Girls Glee Club - 1948

This is a very old photo of the Centralia City Schools Girls Glee Club. Look closely and you will see several of our classmates. Unfortuantely it was not on photo grade paper and was grainy so details could not be seen very well. To see a little larger photo, click on the face of the person you want to see and a larger image with names will appear. Click on your browser's back button to return for another view.

There are numerous pages of other photos, including some framed photos.
Look near the bottom of each page for links to all pages.

In the vocal music department, increasing emphasis is given to socializing the music program by making it possible for every child to contribute her share to the classroom performance.
The new series of books introduced last year and now being used throughout the first six grades, help to make music an interesting adventure.
The books not only help the children to express through music their own interests, activities and emotions, but give them a rich music reading experience.
Three extra-cirricular groups were organized this year and appeared on various programs, The Girsl Glee Club, The Boys Chorus and an Eighth Grade Mixed Chorus.
